Project Description

The single most important thing our veterinarians do during the course of an office visit is perform a thorough physical exam. We scrutinize your pet from the end of his nose to the tip of his tail.

In healthy pets, the exam allows us to establish baseline parameters to which we can compare if the pet comes in not feeling well. Since your furry friends can’t talk, a careful exam helps us localize the problem if they get sick, and create an appropriate diagnostic and treatment plan to get them on the road to recovery. As our pets age, annual or biannual exams help us pinpoint health concerns and intervene before conditions such as osteoarthritis, heart disease, kidney and liver disease become debilitating.

At AMCOP, we know that a meticulous physical exam, whether your pet is a new addition, senior best friend, or anything in between, is critical to maintaining optimal health.
